THE PINEAPPLE CORPORATION PROMOTES SPENCER CALVERT TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT/CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – The Pineapple Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Spencer T. Calvert to the position of executive vice president/chief financial officer. In his new position, Calvert will lead daily operations and strategic planning for the company.
“Spencer’s expertise and impressive history with The Pineapple Corporation made his transition to executive vice president/chief financial officer effortless,” said President Jim Ash. “Promoting Spencer was a logical choice to help our company as we continue to grow throughout the Northeast Florida market.”

In his previous position as vice president/chief financial officer with The Pineapple Corporation, Calvert oversaw the financial activities while assisting in the operations of the Northeast Florida-based custom and semi-custom home builder. He has over 10 years experience in the real estate industry with an extensive background in accounting.
Prior to joining The Pineapple Corporation, Calvert worked as controller and vice president of business development with a regional title insurance company.

His roles helped the Midwest organization succeed at carrying out aggressive acquisitions and merger programs. Calvert holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas and is also a licensed certified building contractor in Florida.
