THE PINEAPPLE CORPORATION RECEIVES A 2007 GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD

JACKSONVILLE, Florida - The Pineapple Corporation recently received a 2007 Good Neighbor Award from Jacksonville Homebuyer magazine and the Northeast Florida Builders Association for its volunteer and charitable endeavors in the community.

"We believe giving back to our friends and neighbors and striving to improve life in Jacksonville is an important aspect of being a good corporate citizen," said The Pineapple Corporation's President Jim Ash. "Everyone in our company is dedicated to supporting local charitable organizations with their time, resources and efforts."

Each year, a select group of local builders who make a difference in their community through charitable and volunteer endeavors are honored with a Good Neighbor Award. The Pineapple Corporation was recognized for its support of local and national organizations such as the Northeast Florida Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Junior Achievement, National MS Society, daniel Foundation, Friends of Fletcher, American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity and Episcopal High School. Ash is currently chair and president of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 2007 Advisory Board, and The Pineapple Corporation was most recently a presenting sponsor for the foundation's largest fundraising events, Moonlight Martinis and The Lending Group 65 Roses Golf Tournament.

The Pineapple Corporation and other honorees of the 2007 Good Neighbor award will be profiled in Jacksonville Homebuyer and Bildor News. Proceeds from the Good Neighbor Awards celebratory luncheon will benefit the Northeast Florida Builders Association's Arnold Tritt Scholarship Fund, which was established to assist students enrolled in the Building Construction Management program at the University of North Florida.

The Pineapple Corporation is the fastest growing premier builder of luxury custom and semi-custom homes in Northeast Florida. The Jacksonville company's award-winning designs convey elegance, superior quality and building excellence. The Pineapple Corporation's new homes are showcased in the area's most exclusive neighborhoods including Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club, Villini at Glen Kernan and Palermo, the company's new European village-style community.
