WIND SCULPTURES ADD TO ARCHITECTURAL FLAIR AT PALERMO

JACKSONVILLE, Florida - The Pineapple Corporation is known for creating timeless custom and semi-custom homes that beautifully showcase architectural influences from around the world. At the company's new community, Palermo, The Pineapple Corporation has installed hand-crafted kinetic wind sculptures by Lyman Whitaker from Taos, New Mexico in front of the entry monumentation to complement Palermo's enchanting setting.

"I was taken by these captivating sculptures which represent strength and beauty and felt they would be a welcoming beacon to Palermo resident and guests," said President Jim Ash, who has traveled extensively gathering inspiration for his new home designs and communities. "Palermo is a distinctive community and it was fitting to display these unique sculptures in our new setting."

The copper, steel and stainless steel sculptures were hand-crafted at Whitaker Studio to symbolize creative energy and new opportunities, qualities Ash and his talented team at The Pineapple Corporation apply to every new home they build. Elements of the intricate sculptures move with the wind, creating a playful ever-changing work of art. According to Whitaker, his Wind ForestT sculptures are designed to offer a comforting release from everyday life with their calm serenity and whimsical charm.

The majestic Wind ForestT sculptures are located at the entrance median of Palermo, on Hodges Boulevard, south of Beach Boulevard. In addition to seeing these magnificent sculptures at Palermo, visitors are also invited to tour the four new decorated model homes by The Pineapple Corporation. The new models are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, please contact Kurt Morgan at (904) 339-1166.

Palermo is a gated European village-style community offering a variety of stunning semi-custom homes from The Pineapple Corporation's two collections - Magnifico and Primo. Homes from The Magnifico Collection are priced from the $500s and homes in The Primo Collection are priced from the $600s.

Since opening the models, Palermo has experienced robust sales. Once complete, Palermo will feature 133 classic European-style courtyard homes in a picturesque setting. Residents will enjoy community recreation amenities including a swimming pool, spacious lanai, two multi-purpose rooms, an exercise room, women's and men's facilities, and community pavilion. Construction on the amenities is expected to be complete by early summer 2007.

All new home purchasers at Palermo have the opportunity to become social members of the prestigious Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club where they can enjoy a wonderful selection of amenities including dining facilities, sports complex with tennis courts, multi-purpose playing fields, basketball and volleyball courts, playground and junior Olympic-size saltwater pool. Residents will also have access to the fitness center featuring state-of-the-art equipment and licensed fitness trainer and massage therapist. All inventory homes at Palermo also include a full golf membership to Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club.

The Pineapple Corporation is the fastest growing premier builder of luxury custom and semi-custom homes in Northeast Florida. The company's award-winning designs convey elegance, superior quality and building excellence. The Pineapple Corporation's homes are showcased in the area's most exclusive neighborhoods including Glen Kernan Golf and Country Club, Villini at Glen Kernan and Palermo, the company's new European village-style community.
